Anime: Paradise Kiss (Romance, Fashion, 18+) 12 Episodes

A very quick finish for me this one was! This Anime jumps right into the Romance of the main characters life and did not beat around the bush which was awesome! Yukari, the main girl, is living in an ideal family situation where she is expected to study and attend private schools of her mothers choice. She catches the eye of a group of college students who work under a company called ParaKiss (Paradise Kiss) and proceeds to model for an upcoming school show. The Anime was short and to the point showing a group of friends in school and the reality of graduating and moving on with each of their lives. The ending was unexpected and due to that I really liked it. It may make you a bit sad but its a very realistic take on life put into an animated series. Originally I watched the first episode because one of my favorite Japanese singers does the opening song and I wasn't that impressed but a few episodes in I was hooked. The artwork has a FLCL style to it and the story is different than most other Animes, very enjoyable. The only thing that made my music rating go down is the guy in a band sounded like a goat when he sang towards the end of the series.

Anime: Suzuka (Romance, School Life) 26 Episodes

I Recently finished the Anime Suzuka which is based off teenagers who are on the track and field team at their school. It is a romance based Anime revolving around a girl (Suzuka) along with her secret love interest, which seems obvious throughout the show, and his relationships with other girls and friends. It had a good plot to it which I didn't expect because well...track and field doesn't really sound like something to get excited about. This show was made for Anime lovers over casual Anime or non Anime watchers. The ending didn't blow and I was able to sit down and watch it without getting annoyed with the lack of motivation by the main characters, as some Anime can tend to make me.
